I am very attentive, honest and respectful. I have never been married, and have no children. So as to not waste anyones' time, I will be direct and honest. I have been a Chronic Pain Sufferer for 32 yrs, (if this freaks you out read no further) I am now under the care of The Chronic Pain Center of Calgary, and under going rehabilitation so to speak, in all facets of my being. I erroniously socially isolated myself for over a decade because I did not want to be a burden or a downer to people and could not muster the strength to pretend that I was ok outside of work. Well things are much better now, and I can see a light at the end of the black hole I have been in. However, I have only one female friend. I used to be her boss and now we're buddies. She is like the sister I never had and I cherish her friendship, however she is a lesbian and if I don't have some contact with other women I will be in danger of falling in love with her, which would be disasterous friendshipwise and emotionally devastating for her. Although I am "fully functional" as a Chronic Pain Sufferer, I have not always dealt with it in a positive way, and have convinced myself that a "relationship" is not practicable, as I am limited in the type of activities that I can do, and I feel the affect on me emotionly and physcologically, is too much for any woman to put up with. But as a friend, I have a lot to offer, especially if you are an avid cyclist and enjoy music.
